Installation Notes
Conduit entry follows standard electrical practice: cut hub holes (size varies by conduit diameter — 7/8" hole for ½" hub, 1 1/16" for ¾", 1 ¼" for 1", scaling up to 2 3/8" for 2" conduit) on the enclosure face or side as wiring layout dictates. Use a Greenlee cutter positioned inside the enclosure, punching outward for clean entry. For metallic conduit, secure the connector hub into the hole with locknut, then attach grounding bushings with proper ground wire lug over the locknut. For non-metallic conduit, no grounding bushing is required — align conduit to prevent unnecessary stress on the polycarbonate walls. Ground all equipment per applicable electrical code (Canadian Electrical Code applies in Canada; US installations follow NEC). Device mounting plate is internal; secure your control board and terminal strips to prevent movement during wiring or thermal cycling.
