Overview
The STI EP080605-T is a polycarbonate access control enclosure rated for up to 7 doors on a single controller. Built from injection-molded polycarbonate in RAL 7035 gray, it delivers durability against impact and environmental exposure without the weight or corrosion concerns of metal alternatives — a meaningful advantage in retrofit installations where you're mounting behind drywall or in damp mechanical rooms. UL/cUL certified (approval 6 EP242410-O), the unit operates at 44dB(A) sound output, keeping audible feedback low in occupied spaces. TCP/IP networking enables centralized management across multiple doors, so credential updates and audit logs sync without sneaker-net visits to each controller.

Installation Notes
The enclosure supports conduit entry for ½" to 2" hub sizes using standard locknut-secured connectors. Cut holes using a Greenlee Cutter with the punch placed on the enclosure interior and drawn toward the outside — this prevents excessive internal stress on polycarbonate walls. For metallic conduit, secure grounding bushings over the connector locknut per the Canadian Electrical Code and local electrical standards. Non-metallic conduit does not require grounding bushings but must be aligned to avoid unnecessary stress on the enclosure. Ensure conduit entry points do not compromise the UL/cUL rating or environmental seal of the unit.
