Compatibility

It facilitates the secure mounting and grounding of conduit and associated wiring, ensuring compliance with electrical codes for these specific enclosure types. It is not compatible with metallic enclosures or other brands of enclosures.

Installation Notes

Installation requires cutting conduit holes in the enclosure wall, with specific recommended hole sizes for various conduit diameters (e.g., 7/8” diameter hole for a ½” conduit). For metallic conduit, a conduit connector (hub) is secured to the conduit and then to the enclosure using a locknut, with a grounding lug attached. For non-metallic conduit, the conduit is secured to the connector before or after the connector is secured to the enclosure; a grounding bushing is not required. Proper alignment of the conduit is critical to prevent stress on the enclosure walls. Installation must adhere to The Canadian Electrical Code for grounding and bonding.
