Compatibility
Designed exclusively for STI-9105 electric strikes operating at 9VDC. The 1.25" thickness compensates for frame-to-jamb depth variations common in standard commercial and residential door openings. If your strike installation shows a gap exceeding 1.25" or your door frame depth falls outside standard tolerances, you may need a different spacer thickness — verify your frame depth before ordering.
Installation Notes
Position the spacer between the strike body and the door frame. Secure with the mounting hardware supplied with the STI-9105 strike unit — do not over-torque fasteners into polycarbonate. The clear material withstands typical indoor climates but avoid direct sustained UV exposure and corrosive spray environments. For surface-mounted installations, use the cable entry blanks included with the spacer to seal unused cable holes and prevent environmental debris from compromising strike reliability.
