The K-1770-3-EWP is a vandal-resistant entry phone built for controlled-access vestibules, exterior doors, and perimeter gates where you need telephony, a metal keypad, and credential-based access in a single ruggedized unit. It integrates a 125KHz proximity card reader with 26-bit Wiegand output directly into the phone faceplate — eliminating a separate reader mount and simplifying rough-in wiring. The faceplate is 14-gauge louvered 316 stainless steel with laser-etched graphics and a heavy-duty metal keypad, built to hold up in high-traffic or high-vandalism environments. The unit ships with Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP): fully potted internals, IP66 ingress rating, and humidity tolerance up to 100% condensing — meaning it handles direct rain, wash-downs, and coastal moisture without sealing concerns. Operating range of -30°F to 150°F covers most North American outdoor deployments without a heater accessory.
