The Speco D4WVNP4TB is a compact wallmount DVR purpose-built for small TVI camera deployments. It accepts up to 4 channels of 4MP HD-TVI analog video input and includes a factory-installed 4TB hard drive, eliminating the need for separate storage procurement. H.265 compression cuts storage overhead roughly in half compared to H.264, extending recording duration before capacity fills—critical when you're managing a fixed 4TB pool across 24/7 multicamera recording. The unit is sized for indoor wall or shelf mounting in control rooms, security closets, or small facilities where rack space is unavailable. Compatibility
The D4WVNP4TB works exclusively with HD-TVI analog cameras—standard 4MP TVI models from Speco and compatible TVI vendors. Do not confuse TVI with IP cameras; this is an analog-to-digital DVR, not an NVR. It will not accept Ethernet-connected (IP) cameras, PoE inputs, or ONVIF streams. Verify your existing camera fleet is TVI-compliant before purchase. The unit includes a power supply for immediate operation; no external PSU configuration required.
Installation Notes
Wall mounting uses standard VESA-compatible bolt holes on the rear chassis. Ensure the mounting surface can support approximately 1.6 pounds (0.72 kg). Video inputs are BNC connectors; use standard 75-ohm coaxial cable (RG-59 or RG-6) with lengths under 300 feet to avoid signal degradation. Position the unit in a climate-controlled indoor space to avoid temperature extremes.
