Overview
The D4WVNP2TB is a 4-channel HD-TVI digital video recorder built into a white wall-mount enclosure with an integrated power supply and 2TB of storage already installed. It fits deployments where rack space isn't available — retail back offices, small offices, utility rooms — and where you need the recorder itself hidden or secured close to the cameras it serves. H.265 and H.264 compression keep the pre-installed 2TB drive stretching further across four channels than H.264-only recording would allow, which matters on a fixed-capacity unit with no rack for an expansion chassis. The enclosure ships ready to power up and record; there's no separate PSU to source or mount.
Compatibility
The D4WVNP2TB records from 960H analog cameras and HD-TVI cameras from 1MP through 8MP, covering Speco's TVI camera lineup across multiple resolution tiers on the same four inputs. This multi-format tolerance means you can mix older 960H analog cameras with newer TVI models on one recorder during a phased upgrade, rather than forklifting the whole system at once. A dedicated audio input is present for a single audio source alongside the four video channels. Internal storage tops out at one HDD up to 10TB, so the pre-installed 2TB unit leaves headroom for a drive swap later if retention requirements grow.
Installation Notes
The unit measures 11.8 x 9.9 x 2.0 in and weighs 16 lbs — factor that into wall-anchor selection, especially with a drive already installed adding to the mounted weight. Power is integrated, so plan for a nearby AC outlet rather than a separate power brick. The unit takes 2x AAA 1.5V batteries for the onboard clock/settings backup — keep a couple on hand at commissioning so time-stamped footage doesn't drift after a power interruption.
