Overview
The CVC605CMT1 is a 2MP HD-TVI fixed camera engineered for corner-mounted surveillance in controlled indoor environments—elevators, hallways, stairwells, and retail corridors. It delivers 1920×1080 resolution at 30fps over standard coax cabling, eliminating the need for separate IP infrastructure or PoE wiring in legacy TVI deployments. The 3.6mm fixed lens provides a wide field of view typical for closer coverage distances. Stainless steel housing resists corrosion in facility environments. Day/night auto-switching with wide dynamic range (WDR) manages mixed lighting without lens adjustment.
Compatibility
This camera supports HD-TVI, CVI, AHD, and 960H video formats—meaning it integrates with hybrid DVRs and TVI-based recorders from Speco and third-party systems that accept multi-format analog video input. Operates on 12VDC (power supply sold separately). UTC (coax-over-twisted-pair) control allows full on-screen menu operation via the DVR interface without separate control wiring. Signal transmission distance reaches 1600 feet over coax, depending on cable quality—a significant reach advantage if you're retrofitting existing BNC runs.
