Overview
The Panduit JB1DWH-A is a single-gang, one-piece deep outlet box designed for low voltage applications. Its primary function is to provide a clean and organized termination point for wiring within surface raceway systems, specifically the Pan-Way® LD profile raceway. The integrated adhesive backing simplifies installation by allowing direct mounting to surfaces, eliminating the need for complex mounting hardware in many scenarios. This box solves the deployment problem of unsightly wire runs by offering a discreet and professional housing for low-voltage connections.
Compatibility
This junction box is engineered for use with the Panduit Pan-Way® LD profile surface raceway system. It accepts standard Pan-Way® screw-on faceplates as well as any NEMA standard single-gang faceplate, offering flexibility in final device mounting. The box also features breakout points for ½”, ¾”, or 1” diameter conduit, allowing for integration with existing conduit infrastructure or for transitions to other wiring methods.
Installation Notes
Installation is facilitated by an adhesive backing for direct surface mounting. The unit accepts standard single-gang faceplates for device termination. Breakouts are provided for ½”, ¾”, or 1” conduit, requiring appropriate fittings for connection.
