Overview

The APC AP8868 is a 10kW rack-mountable Power Distribution Unit (PDU) designed to provide reliable power to IT equipment in data centers and network closets. It features a high-density outlet configuration with 36 IEC C13 and 6 IEC C19 outlets, supporting 208V 3-phase power input via a CS8365 connector. This unit is ideal for environments requiring robust power distribution for servers, network switches, and other rack-mounted devices. The AP8868 model is built for demanding enterprise deployments.

Compatibility

This PDU is designed to integrate with standard 19-inch server racks and APC's EcoStruxure IT ecosystem. It is compatible with any IT equipment requiring 208V 3-phase power and utilizing IEC C13 or C19 power cords. The CS8365 input connector is standard for higher power requirements in enterprise rack systems.

Installation Notes

The unit operates within a wide temperature range of 0 to 55°C (32 to 131°F) and relative humidity of 5% to 95% non-condensing. The power cord is 6 feet (1.83 meters) long. Ensure the input circuit breaker is rated for 35A to match the PDU's maximum line current.
