Vivotek TT9333-E(3.5MM) S-Series Bi-Spectrum Thermal IP Turret
Overview
The TT9333-E(3.5MM) is a compact turret-form thermal IP camera combining visible-light and thermal imaging in a single unit. Deploy this where round-the-clock perimeter detection, intrusion monitoring, or thermal anomaly identification matters — parking lots, remote gates, fence lines, and high-risk outdoor zones where visible-only cameras fail after dark or in fog. The bi-spectrum approach means you get forensic-grade visible video during daylight and active thermal surveillance when ambient light drops, eliminating the coverage gap many single-sensor deployments face.
Compatibility
The TT9333-E(3.5MM) integrates with Vivotek's S-Series thermal camera line and supports ONVIF Profile S/T/G, making it compatible with standard network video recorders and VMS platforms that handle multi-stream ONVIF devices. Confirm your NVR firmware supports dual-stream thermal codec output (H.265/H.264 for visible, radiometric or 8-bit grayscale thermal output) before deployment. Works with standard PoE++ (802.3bt) infrastructure — verify your switch supplies sufficient power for sustained thermal processing.
Installation Notes
Mount the turret on wall or ceiling using the standard ball-joint swivel bracket included. The 3.5mm fixed lens provides roughly 105° horizontal field of view — position for perimeter coverage where thermal detection range (typically 40–50 meters for human-sized objects in standard conditions) aligns with your zone of interest. Thermal imaging performance degrades in high-ambient-temperature environments (direct sun, thermal sources nearby) and heavy rain; account for this in threat-model planning. Thermal sensor requires startup stabilization (~30 seconds) after power-up before image quality stabilizes.
