Overview
The Vivotek TB9332-E(50MM) is a fixed-lens thermal IP bullet built for perimeter security, industrial monitoring, and fire detection in complete darkness and adverse weather. It captures 640x512 thermal imagery through a 50mm fixed thermal lens—delivering heat-signature detection at distance without dependence on visible light, IR illuminators, or reflective markers. The compact 5.18 kg bullet form factor mounts to walls, poles, or standard brackets with a low visual profile. Powered by PoE (802.3af) Class 2, it eliminates dedicated electrical runs and scales across large deployments. ONVIF compliance ensures direct integration with most VMS platforms and third-party systems.
Compatibility
The TB9332-E(50MM) integrates with any ONVIF-compliant video management system, including open-source and commercial VMS platforms that support standard thermal stream protocols. It pairs with standard CAT5e or CAT6 cabling (3P/ETL rated) and PoE-capable switches or midspan injectors that deliver 802.3af power. Two-way audio connectivity enables integration with access control or real-time alert systems. The thermal stream is compatible with motion detection systems, edge-based analytics pipelines, and third-party fire detection algorithms that consume H.265 or H.264 video.
Installation Notes
Mount on horizontal or vertical surfaces using standard wall or pole brackets rated for 5.18 kg load. Use CAT5e or CAT6 cabling with 3P/ETL certification for optimal signal integrity and PoE delivery. Ensure PoE switch or injector provides minimum 13W per port (802.3af Class 2). Operate between -40°C and 60°C; allow 30–60 minutes for thermal stabilization after power-on in extreme temperature swings. The 50mm fixed lens cannot be adjusted—confirm field-of-view requirements before installation. Avoid mounting directly into strong radiant heat sources (furnaces, steam vents) that will saturate thermal sensor range.
