The Vivotek TB9332-E(15MM) is a fixed 15mm thermal imaging bullet for around-the-clock perimeter and critical infrastructure monitoring where visible light cameras fail. The 640×512 thermal sensor delivers usable detail in complete darkness, fog, rain, and snow without visible light dependency — a real advantage over conventional cameras on exterior fence lines, loading docks, and unmanned facility perimeters. IP66 rating handles direct rain and dust ingress; the compact 5.18 kg bullet form factor mounts quickly to poles, walls, and structural elements without heavy rigging. Operates on standard PoE (802.3af Class 2), eliminating dedicated electrical runs.
Compatibility
The TB9332-E(15MM) integrates with any VMS platform supporting ONVIF Profile S (ONVIF-compliant systems). It works alongside existing network infrastructure — CAT5e or CAT6 cabling is recommended. The onboard 1GB memory buffer and 16GB storage enable temporary local recording independence if network connectivity drops, making it suitable for deployments where centralized NVR connectivity is intermittent or delayed. Two-way audio support allows pairing with access control systems and on-site intercoms for deterrence communication.
Installation Notes
Mount the TB9332-E(15MM) in locations where thermal contrast is visible (perimeter fences, building edges, parking lot approaches). Avoid pointing directly at warm surfaces (HVAC exhausts, heated walls) that create false-positive thermal signatures.
