Pelco FUMS-GFX4 4-Port Gigabit SFP Fiber Switch
The Pelco FUMS-GFX4 is an unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch designed as a fiber aggregation point for IP camera networks. This plug-and-play accessory eliminates the complexity of managed switch configuration, making it ideal for deployments where multiple camera fiber links converge. With four SFP fiber ports and Gigabit throughput, it supports multi-stream cameras at full resolution without management overhead.
Key Features
- 4 SFP fiber ports for flexible fiber type support
- Unmanaged operation — no configuration required
- Gigabit Ethernet throughput for full-resolution multi-stream video
- User-supplied SFP transceivers matched to fiber type and distance
- NDAA Section 889 compliant for government and regulated installations
- Engineered for Pelco camera system integration
Technical Highlights
This switch accepts industry-standard SFP transceivers (sold separately) that you select based on your fiber type, connector, and distance requirements. Its unmanaged architecture requires zero configuration, making deployment straightforward in surveillance environments. Gigabit performance ensures cameras stream at full resolution without bottlenecks. Note that this model does not include VLAN, QoS, or remote management capabilities — if traffic segmentation or advanced control is needed, a managed switch is recommended. For PoE delivery, add injectors downstream of the switch. Four ports are suitable for single-point fiber aggregation; plan for growth if expansion is anticipated.
Applications
- Multi-camera fiber network aggregation points
- Professional IP surveillance deployments
- Commercial and industrial security installations
- Government and NDAA-compliant projects
