This accessory extends RS-485/RS-422 serial data transmission over fiber optic cable, enabling PTZ control, alarm signals, and serial communications to reach distances far beyond traditional copper RS-485 limits. Install at the headend or controller location to receive data from a compatible FTD1S transmitter deployed at the camera end.
