CyberPower PDU44003 Switched ATS PDU
Overview
The CyberPower PDU44003 is a 2U rackmount Switched Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) PDU designed to provide redundant power to critical network equipment. It solves the single-point-of-failure issue by offering dual input power cords and automatically switching to a backup source if the primary fails. This unit is ideal for server rooms, network closets, and other environments where uptime is paramount, supporting up to 24A continuous load from its 30A input capacity.
Compatibility
This PDU is designed for standard 100-120 VAC equipment. It features 16x NEMA 5-20R outlets and 1x NEMA L5-30R outlet, suitable for a wide range of IT hardware. The dual NEMA L5-30P input connectors require two independent 100-120 VAC power sources. It supports daisy-chaining up to 4 units for expanded control and monitoring.
Installation Notes
The unit mounts horizontally in a standard 2U rack space using the included brackets. It has a 10 ft (3.0 m) power cord length. Operating temperature range is 32-113°F (0-45°C) with 0-95% non-condensing humidity. Overload protection is provided by 20A breakers for each of the two outlet banks. The transfer time between power sources is less than 10ms, ensuring minimal disruption.
