Overview
The CyberPower PDU44002 is a 1U rackmount Switched ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) PDU designed for critical IT infrastructure where uptime is paramount. It provides dual power inputs, allowing you to connect to two separate power sources. If the primary source fails, the PDU automatically switches to the secondary source, ensuring continuous operation of connected equipment. This unit is ideal for server racks in data centers, network closets, or any environment requiring high availability. The PDU44002 offers remote monitoring capabilities via Ethernet, SNMP, and HTTP, enabling proactive management and troubleshooting.
Compatibility
This PDU is designed for standard 100-120 VAC power environments. It features 10 x NEMA 5-20R outlets, compatible with standard US power cords for servers, network switches, workstations, and other IT equipment. The 16A capacity (derated from 20A) is suitable for typical rack-mounted devices. It supports connection via Ethernet (RJ45) and serial (RJ45) for management, and can integrate with SNMP/HTTP monitoring systems. An optional environmental sensor can be connected for real-time monitoring of temperature and humidity within the rack.
Installation Notes
The PDU44002 mounts horizontally in a standard 1U rack space. Its dimensions are 17.05 x 1.75 x 8.45 inches (433 x 44 x 215 mm). The operating temperature range is 32-113°F (0-45°C), suitable for most climate-controlled IT environments. It requires connection to two separate 100-120 VAC power sources. The unit is UL62368 certified via cTUVus, FCC Class A, and ICES-003 compliant.
