Overview
The CyberPower PDU24001 is a metered Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) PDU designed to provide redundant power to single-corded IT equipment. This 1U rackmount unit is essential for data centers and network closets where uptime is critical. Its automatic transfer capability ensures continuous operation by switching to a secondary power source if the primary fails, with a transfer time between 2-7 ms. The PDU24001 model features 10 NEMA 5-15R outlets and operates at 100-120 VAC with a 12A capacity, derated from its 15A capability.
Compatibility
This PDU is designed for standard IT infrastructure. It accepts dual NEMA 5-15P input plugs, allowing connection to two separate 100-120V AC power sources. The 10 NEMA 5-15R outlets are compatible with most standard single-corded network devices, servers, and workstations. Its 1U form factor ensures compatibility with standard 19-inch server racks.
Installation Notes
The PDU24001 requires mounting in a standard 1U rack space. It features a 10 ft (3.0 m) cord length for flexible placement. The operating temperature range is 32-113 °F (0-45 °C) with humidity up to 95% non-condensing. Connectivity includes a serial RJ45 port for management. A cord retention tray is included to manage power cords securely.
