Description

Panduit F92ERB1LNSNM006 OS2 Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit F92ERB1LNSNM006 is a 6-meter (19.68 ft) OS2 duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for reliable data transmission in structured cabling systems. It features one LC Duplex APC connector and one LC Duplex connector, facilitating connections between single-mode fiber optic equipment. The Riser (OFNR) flammability rating makes it suitable for use within building risers and general-purpose horizontal runs where plenum-rated cable is not required. This cable provides a stable link for surveillance networks, data centers, and telecommunications infrastructure.

Compatibility

This patch cord is compatible with any fiber optic equipment utilizing LC Duplex APC and LC Duplex connectors. It is suitable for use with single-mode OS2 fiber optic transceivers, network interface cards, patch panels, and active network devices from various manufacturers, including those found in enterprise data centers and commercial surveillance deployments. The OS2 fiber type ensures optimal performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet, 40 Gigabit Ethernet, and 100 Gigabit Ethernet applications over longer distances compared to multi-mode fiber.

Installation Notes

The cable features a 2mm jacket diameter and is colored yellow for easy identification of OS2 single-mode fiber. The connectors are designed for secure mating, with the APC connector offering lower back reflection, critical for high-speed or long-haul transmission. Ensure proper cleaning of connectors before and after installation to maintain signal integrity. The EN 60332-1-2 standard compliance indicates resistance to fire propagation.
