Overview

The VRA6033 is a dedicated networking roof panel sized at 600mm wide by 1100mm deep, designed to close out the top of Vertiv VR-series open-frame racks in structured cabling and network equipment deployments. Where a standard solid top panel (VRA6017) seals off the top completely, the VRA6033 is configured specifically for networking use — providing a managed top surface that supports overhead cable entry, patch organization, and airflow management without leaving the rack crown exposed. Closing the top panel is not just cosmetic: it contains hot exhaust, maintains containment pressure in hot-aisle/cold-aisle rows, and prevents cable sag into active equipment below.

Compatibility

The VRA6033 fits Vertiv VR-series open-frame racks with a 600mm width and 1100mm depth footprint. Cross-referencing the VR accessory family, the 600 x 1100 dimension aligns with rack bases VRA3009 (VR 100x600x1100) and the matching side panel sets VRA6009 (VR 42Ux1100 Split Side Panels) and VRA6029 / VRA6054 (Pass-Through Side Panels x1100). If your rack is 800mm wide, select VRA6035 instead. If your rack depth is 1200mm, select VRA6034 (600mm wide) or VRA6036 (800mm wide). Pairing with VRA6021 (Top Panel Grommets) is recommended when routing structured cabling through the panel to protect jacket insulation and maintain bend-radius compliance at the entry point.

Installation Notes

Verify rack footprint — width and depth — before ordering. The VRA6033 is dimension-specific and will not fit 800mm-wide or 1200mm-deep VR frames. When combining with pass-through side panels, install side panels first to establish the frame boundary, then drop the roof panel into position. If overhead cable management or a cable waterfall is part of the design, install VRA6021 grommets before seating the roof panel to avoid disassembly later.
