Overview
The Panduit Mini-Com® Cat 6 Shielded RJ45 Up/Down 45° Angled TG Jack Module (CJSUD688TGRDY) is engineered for terminating shielded 4-pair, 22-26 AWG twisted pair cable. Its up/down angled design is specifically beneficial for cable routing in confined spaces, ensuring a clean and efficient installation where standard jacks might present routing challenges. Each module is factory tested to exceed performance requirements defined by ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO 11801 standards for its category.
Compatibility
This jack module is designed for use with Panduit's Mini-Com Modular Patch Panels and Faceplates. It supports standard Cat 6 performance levels, ensuring compatibility with networks running at 1 Gbps and higher, provided the rest of the cabling infrastructure (cable, patch cords) meets Cat 6 specifications. The TG style termination is proprietary to Panduit and designed for their specific termination process.
Installation Notes
The TG style termination method eliminates the need for a separate punch-down tool, simplifying the installation process. Each jack is individually serialized for traceability. The module supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 Power over Ethernet (PoE++) standards, drawing power without compromising network performance, a critical consideration for powered devices like IP cameras or wireless access points.
