The Middle Atlantic FWD-EB1 is a 1RU flanged blank panel designed to close off unused rack space in 19-inch enclosures. At 1.75 in tall and finished in flat black, the FWD-EB1 keeps airflow managed and rack interiors clean in security head-end closets, AV equipment racks, and network enclosures where open slots create convection problems or simply look unfinished. The forward-mount design means the panel face sits flush with the front rail plane — relevant when you're mixing shallow and deep chassis in the same rack and need a consistent front appearance. At 0.62 lbs, it adds negligible load to any standard rack assembly.

Compatibility

Fits any standard Middle Atlantic rack or third-party 19-inch rack enclosure with EIA-standard rail spacing. The flanged design is specific to Middle Atlantic's Forward series mounting system — confirm your rack accepts flanged panels before ordering.
