The Middle Atlantic EB1 is a 1RU flanged steel blank panel designed to close off unused rack slots in 19-inch enclosures. At 0.52 in deep and 1.75 in tall, the EB1 fills a single rack unit without consuming meaningful depth — useful in shallow rack enclosures where depth clearance is tight. Steel construction with a flat black powder coat finish holds up to routine rack maintenance without chipping or flexing. Two mounting points secure the panel flush against the rack rails, preventing the panel rattle and airflow bypass that cheaper plastic fillers allow. If you're managing cable airflow in a surveillance head-end or NVR rack, unblocked slots are a real problem: hot air recirculates from the back of the chassis into the front intake, shortening component life.
