Overview

The DWC-INTCAM02 is a 2MP door station designed for entry-point monitoring, visitor verification, and access control integration. Its 139° horizontal field of view and dual-illumination (white LED + IR) handle low-light entry scenarios without requiring a separate IR-only camera. The fixed 2.3mm, F2.2 lens captures 1920×1080 video with True WDR (80dB), which means usable detail in mixed lighting—bright daylight through the door window alongside dim interior lobby conditions—without the halo artifacts that plague cheaper WDR implementations. This unit pairs with door locks and access control panels via its 1A 125VAC / 1A 24VDC relay output and integrates natively into DW Spectrum IPVMS or any ONVIF-compliant platform.

Compatibility

The DWC-INTCAM02 is designed as a standalone networked door camera or as part of a Digital Watchdog surveillance ecosystem. It connects to standard 10/100 LAN (RJ45) and supports ONVIF Profile S for broad VMS compatibility. Door lock wiring (125VAC or 24VDC relay output) integrates with existing access control systems. Alarm input and anti-tamper interface accept signals from door sensors, motion detectors, or control panels. Micro SD card slot (up to 256GB) enables local failover recording independent of your NVR or VMS.

Installation Notes

Dimensions 150 × 50 × 29.8 mm suit standard wall-mounted door frame installations. Operating range -20°C to 50°C; verify your entry vestibule doesn't exceed 95% RH (condensation risk). White LED illumination reaches 0.3–1 m; IR extends 0.3–3 m—adequate for typical door stations but not long hallways. Power draw under 6W allows standard 802.3af PoE or passive 12VDC supply. No external IR illuminator needed for typical entry scenarios. Built-in microphone and speaker enable two-way audio with IP filtering and SSL/TLS encryption for secure credential verification calls.
