Description

Lifesafety Power FPO75-C8E1 Power Supply Enclosure

The FPO75-C8E1 is a 75-watt industrial power enclosure designed to distribute regulated 12V or 24V DC power across eight independently fused outputs. Each output is protected at 3 amperes, supporting up to 6A per channel at 12V or 3A per channel at 24V — the right choice when you need protected, monitored power distribution for access control panels, magnetic locks, card readers, or networked surveillance infrastructure across a building.

Overview

This enclosure solves the common problem of single-point power failure across multiple access or surveillance devices. Rather than running individual power supplies to each lock, reader, or camera PoE injector, the FPO75-C8E1 centralizes power with per-output fusing that isolates a fault to one circuit — preventing a shorted lock or failed reader from taking down the entire system. The E1 cabinet form factor is built for wall or rack mounting in electrical closets, comms rooms, or IDF environments where space and thermal management matter.

Compatibility

The FPO75-C8E1 integrates with access control systems (Honeywell, Lenel, Genetec, Salto), magnetic lock arrays, electronic door strike controllers, and PoE injector clusters. It works with standard 12V or 24V DC powered devices — verify your devices' voltage and current draw before allocating outputs. Per-output fusing at 3A means each line supports approximately 36–72W at full rated current depending on voltage selected.

Installation Notes

The E1 enclosure requires standard DIN rail mounting or wall bracket installation in a climate-controlled environment. Incoming power (AC or DC source) connects to the main terminal block; each of the eight outputs is independently protected and can be terminated to a fused distribution block or individual device wiring. Verify input voltage matches your facility's power availability — confirm amperage capacity of upstream circuit protection and conditioning. Environmental operation is standard commercial range; avoid moisture-heavy or corrosive environments unless the enclosure is mounted in a sealed cabinet.
