The FPO250/250-2C82D8E4 is a 250W dual-channel power supply designed to feed distributed access control systems and auxiliary security devices across mid-scale installations. Each of its two channels delivers either 20A at 12V or 10A at 24V — giving you flexibility to power mixed-voltage door locks, magnet locks, and auxiliary outputs (like strike controls and status relays) from a single enclosure. The 16 lock outputs and 16 auxiliary outputs are each fused at 3A, isolating failures and preventing a single device fault from cascading across your entire access control line.
This supply integrates with access control panels that require remote power distribution — particularly those managing 16+ door locks or zones in warehouse, multi-tenant, or campus environments. The dual-channel architecture works with standard 12V or 24V door strike systems, magnetic locks, and auxiliary relay modules from Honeywell, Bosch, Nortek, and other commercial access control manufacturers. Confirm your panel's voltage and current draw before installation; the fused 3A per-output design suits standard electromagnetic locks (typically 0.5–2A draw) but not heavy-duty multi-lock arrays on a single output.
Mount the E4 enclosure (compact metal box) in a secure, accessible location near the access control panel or in a distributed cabinet if feeding remote readers and locks. Wire the 20A/10A main outputs to your panel's backup power or direct to the lock/auxiliary distribution point. All 16 lock and 16 auxiliary outputs are individually fused at 3A — replace a blown fuse on a single output without affecting others. Ensure adequate ventilation around the enclosure; a 250W supply running continuously generates moderate heat. Use appropriately gauged cabling for the voltage and current path (typically 12 AWG for 12V runs exceeding 50 feet; 14 AWG for 24V). No field-replaceable modules — treat as a fixed installation asset.
