Description

Lifesafety Power FPO150/150-2C82D8E4 16-Lock 16-Auxiliary Output Power Supply

Overview

The FPO150/150-2C82D8E4 is a 150W redundant power supply built for access control systems requiring independent power feeds to multiple lock controllers and auxiliary loads. Each of its 16 lock outputs and 16 auxiliary outputs is individually fused at 3A, isolating faults — if one lock or device fails short, it won't bring down the entire distribution. The supply operates at 12A/12V or 6A/24V depending on configuration, sourcing from dual inputs. Mount it in the E4 enclosure (a standard 24-inch vertical cabinet) alongside your access control panel or distributed across a network of door controllers.

Compatibility

Designed for legacy and modern access control architectures — any system that distributes 12V or 24V DC to electromagnetic locks, mag locks, strike plates, or ancillary solenoids. Common integrations include Honeywell VISTA panels, GE NetaxS, Salto systems, and custom networked lock control solutions. Verify your door controller voltage requirement (12V or 24V) before ordering; the supply's configuration is set at build time.

Installation Notes

Mount the E4 enclosure on a vertical surface near your main control panel or in a distributed cabinet closer to door clusters — reduces long wire runs and voltage drop across lock circuits. Each output is independently protected: exceeding 3A per lock or auxiliary load triggers the fuse for that output only. Use appropriately gauged cabling for your voltage and distance; voltage drop over 100+ feet of wire at 12V will be noticeable. Terminate all 16 unused outputs with end caps or stub them safely to prevent accidental shorts.
