Description

Lifesafety Power FPO150-B1002D8PM8NLCE6M/T8-A 150W Power Supply

Overview

The FPO150-B1002D8PM8NLCE6M/T8-A is a 150W distributed power supply designed for access control, alarm, and surveillance system installations where you need Class 2 power-limited auxiliary outputs. It delivers either 12A at 12V or 6A at 24V from the main power rail — enough for mid-size door controllers, readers, and ancillary devices without requiring separate power runs to each load. The eight selectable DC auxiliary outputs (each fused at 3A, class-2 limited to 2.5A per channel) let you assign individual loads to Bus1 or Bus2, enabling redundancy and fault isolation. The E6 enclosure (30H × 23W × 6.5D inches) fits standard mounting footprints in telecom and security racks.

Compatibility

This power supply integrates with Lifesafety Power distributed power architectures that support Bus1 protocol-selectable auxiliary outputs. Confirm compatibility with your specific access control panel or door controller documentation — the Bus1/Bus2 selectability means each output can be independently configured to match your system's redundancy or zoning scheme. The eight auxiliary outputs support Class 2 power-limited devices up to 2.5A per channel; do not exceed this limit without external protection.

Installation Notes

Verify incoming AC supply voltage and current capacity (150W total draw) before installation. Each of the eight DC auxiliary outputs is individually fused at 3A — check that connected device ratings do not exceed the fuse rating or the 2.5A per-channel class-2 limit, whichever is lower. Wire main power and auxiliary loads using appropriately rated conductors per your local electrical code. The unit is designed for indoor rack or wall-mount installation in controlled environments — confirm operating temperature range compatibility with your installation site.
