Description

Lifesafety Power FPG100-BOXED Universal Input Power Supply

Overview

The FPG100-BOXED is a dual-voltage power supply accepting 100–240VAC input, with selectable 12VDC (8A) or 24VDC (4A) output. Designed for international deployments including Japan, this unit bridges regions with different electrical standards. Typical applications include powering access control readers, door locks, IP intercom stations, and auxiliary security devices across multi-site or global installations where a single supply model must operate across voltage zones.

Compatibility

Verify output voltage and current requirements against your endpoint specifications before installation. The FPG100-BOXED supports either 12V or 24V loads, but not simultaneously. Confirm your downstream devices operate within the rated amperage: 8A maximum on 12VDC or 4A maximum on 24VDC. If deploying IP cameras or access readers, cross-reference the device datasheet for power consumption to ensure margin below the selected output rating.

International Voltage Certification

This supply is rated for 100–240VAC input, qualifying it for deployment across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Japan. Verify local outlet compatibility and any required adapter plugs before site installation. No step-down transformer is required for international use within the rated input range.

Installation Notes

Select output voltage (12V or 24V) before commissioning—this is typically a jumper or switch setting. Refer to the manufacturer documentation for exact configuration method. Ensure adequate clearance around the enclosure for heat dissipation, particularly in ambient temperatures above 25°C. Do not exceed the rated current on the chosen output to prevent thermal shutdown or damage to downstream loads.
