Kantech P325-COVER ioProx Reader Protective Cover

Overview

The P325-COVER is a weatherproof protective enclosure engineered for Kantech P325XSF and P325W26 ioProx proximity readers. It shields reader sensors and electronics from moisture, UV exposure, dirt, and physical damage—critical for outdoor entrances, loading docks, and semi-exposed wall-mount scenarios where environmental degradation directly shortens reader service life. The cover maintains full RF communication with dual-encoded proximity cards (26-bit Wiegand and Kantech XSF format), so card read range and authentication reliability stay intact. Black finish preserves aesthetic consistency in security infrastructure.

Compatibility

Fits P325XSF and P325W26 ioProx reader models only. Works within complete Kantech access control systems including door controllers and EntraPass Security Software. Does not modify or interrupt Wiegand signal transmission, so existing cabling and panel integration require no changes.

Installation Notes

Installation requires no reader modification or reconfiguration. Cover assembly slides over the existing reader housing without removing terminal blocks or cards. Verify reader mounting location (single gang box or mullion) before ordering to confirm fit. No special tools or torque requirements.
