The PDCX-1109 is a replacement smoke dome cover for ACTi B6x, B8x, and B9x series cameras. Use this when the factory dome has fractured, yellowed, or fogged — or when you need a tinted variant for glare reduction in high-ambient-light retail or warehouse floors. Smoke tint cuts reflection without darkening the actual video feed enough to hurt forensic utility. Ships as a drop-in replacement; no re-aiming or recalibration required.

Compatibility

Compatible with ACTi B6x series (B61, B62, B64), B8x series (B81, B82, B84, B85, B86), and B9x series (B91, B92, B94, B95, B96) indoor and outdoor dome cameras. Confirm your camera model against the B6x/B8x/B9x designation before ordering — this cover is sized specifically for those families and will not fit earlier or later ACTi dome models.

Installation Notes

The PDCX-1109 mounts directly to the existing dome ring on your camera body. No special tools or torque specs are required — hand-tightness is sufficient. The cover does not interact with focus, iris, or optical elements; installation is mechanical only. Verify the dome ring threads are clean before installation to prevent cross-threading. The smoke tint is UV-stable and rated for both indoor and outdoor exposure; no degradation is expected in normal sunlight or rain.
