The PROA7C is a desktop or wall-mounted security control panel that combines burglar and fire alarm control with an integrated camera module. Designed for small-to-medium commercial and residential installations, this all-in-one unit centralizes system monitoring and visual verification without requiring separate equipment racks or multiple control nodes. The 7.875" × 5.75" × 1.0" form factor fits standard desktops or flush wall mounts, making it practical for reception areas, office lobbies, or utility closets where space is constrained.
The PROA7C integrates with Honeywell's AlarmNet 360 cloud platform for remote programming, account registration, and alarm reporting. Wi-Fi and LTE communicator modules (PROWIFIZW for Wi-Fi/Z-Wave, PROLTE-Series for LTE) are sold separately and plug directly into the panel's communication slots. Z-Wave devices and third-party sensors compatible with Honeywell's protocol stack can be paired with the built-in Z-Wave radio when the PROWIFIZW module is installed. The panel operates as the primary control hub for door/window sensors, motion detectors, and hardwired alarm inputs on standard burglar/fire loops.
The unit requires 110VAC power from a 24-hour unswitched outlet—never connect to switch-controlled receptacles, as power loss interrupts backup battery charging and alarm functionality. Allow 2 minutes for full power-up before beginning programming. The 7500mAh rechargeable battery (3.6V/4.2V nominal) provides backup during power failure; the battery pack slides into a bay on the unit's left side after removing the side covers. Wi-Fi setup triggers automatically on power-up if a communicator module is installed—a router powered on and connected to internet access is required. Do not remove power, disconnect the battery, or open the case during the initial programming sequence, as this causes unpredictable configuration loss. Wall mounting uses a standard bracket; desktop operation uses an optional stand (sold separately).
