Overview

The PROINDMV is a battery-powered wireless indoor motion detector with an integrated CMOS camera designed for Honeywell Home Security Systems. It combines passive-infrared motion detection with live video streaming — solving the problem of verifying alarms without walking to a camera or reviewing recordings. The detector needs no wiring or external power supply, making it portable enough to reposition if your security layout changes.

Compatibility

The PROINDMV integrates with Honeywell Home control panels and uses Spread Spectrum, Interactive, AES-encrypted wireless protocol. Verify compatibility with your specific Honeywell panel model before purchase — contact pre-sales engineering if your system generation is unclear.

Installation Notes

Mount indoors in a temperature-controlled environment at 7.5 ft (2.3 m) above the floor. The detector uses a Fresnel lens and requires a clear line of sight to the area you're protecting — avoid aiming at windows (especially sunlit ones), heat sources (fireplaces, radiators, vents), or moving objects (ceiling fans). Do not paint or cover either the motion detection lens or the camera lens. Mount only to a stud, solid wall, or robust wall anchor using the two provided screws. The detection pattern covers 90° and reaches 39.37 ft (12 m). Passive-infrared motion detection triggers video capture; night vision uses one white LED for illumination.
