Overview

The Vertiv HMX5200T-001 is a High Performance KVM (HPKVM) extender designed to transmit dual DVI-D video signals, USB 2.0, and audio up to 1920x1200 resolution over a standard network infrastructure. This unit is suitable for extending control of workstations or servers in environments where the physical console must be separated from the computing hardware, such as control rooms, data centers, or broadcast facilities. It provides a single point of control for multiple devices, simplifying complex setups.

Compatibility

This KVM extender is designed to work with its paired transmitter unit (sold separately) to extend DVI-D video, USB 2.0 (Class Control), and speaker/microphone audio. It requires two RJ45 network connections between the transmitter and receiver for full functionality. The USB ports support USB 2.0 devices, enabling the use of keyboards, mice, and other peripherals. It is compatible with systems requiring up to 1920x1200 resolution at 60Hz.
