The Vertiv HMX5200R-001 is a High Performance KVM (HPKVM) extender designed for remote access to servers and workstations. It enables you to control a computer from a distance using a single network cable for video, USB, and audio. This unit is suited for environments where physical access to the server rack is impractical or undesirable, such as data centers, broadcast studios, or industrial control rooms. The HMX5200R-001 supports dual DVI-D video connections up to 1920x1200 resolution, four USB 2.0 Type-A ports for peripherals, and speaker/microphone audio pass-through.
This extender is compatible with any computer featuring DVI-D video outputs and USB 2.0 ports. It is designed to work with standard network infrastructure. The USB 2.0 hub support with Class Control ensures broad compatibility with keyboards, mice, KVM switches, and other USB 2.0 devices.
The unit requires a 5VDC power adapter, delivering up to 20W. It operates within a temperature range of 0 to 40ºC (32 to 104ºF) and 10% to 90% non-condensing humidity. Storage temperature ranges from -35°C to 70°C (-31°F to 158°F). Agency approvals include CE and FCC.
