Kantech 5365-371-01 Reader Cover Gray

Overview

The Kantech 5365-371-01 is a replacement protective cover engineered for the HID-MP5365 proximity reader. It shields the reader from environmental exposure—dust, UV, moisture, and physical contact—while preserving unobstructed card detection performance. Use this cover in semi-exposed entry points, outdoor vestibules, or high-traffic zones where the reader faces weather or wear without full enclosure protection.

Compatibility

This cover fits the HID-MP5365 reader only. It is precision-molded to match the reader's form factor and mounting footprint, so installation requires no recalibration or reader repositioning. The gray finish integrates visually with standard access control infrastructure.

Installation Notes

The cover installs directly over the HID-MP5365 without tools or reader removal. No recalibration is necessary after installation. Ensure the reader is powered down before installation to avoid accidental credential reads. The cover does not alter reader sensitivity or communication—Wiegand and RS-485 signal paths remain unaffected.
