Overview

The Panduit FHCWA-24-10AF is a high-density fiber optic cassette designed for use within Panduit HD Flex™ enclosures. It terminates 24 fibers, utilizing two MPO-12 male connectors on the back and providing 12 duplex LC connectors on the front. This configuration is ideal for consolidating fiber connections in structured cabling systems, particularly in data centers or enterprise networks where space is at a premium and OM5 performance is required for enhanced wavelength transmission.

Compatibility

This cassette is part of the Panduit HD Flex™ system and is designed to integrate with Panduit HD Flex™ enclosures and patch panels. It is engineered for OM5 fiber, supporting enhanced performance for short-wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM) applications. Ensure your backbone cabling utilizes MPO-12 connectors with the correct polarity (Method A, reversed pair as specified) for seamless integration.

Installation Notes

The cassette features a polycarbonate construction for durability. It utilizes a reversed pair (Method A) configuration for the MPO connectors, which is a specific wiring standard that must be matched with the corresponding backbone cable assembly. The MPO connectors are male, requiring female MPO connectors on the connecting cable. The duplex LC connectors are standard for direct patch cord termination.
