Overview

The Panduit FHCSA-12-10U is an HD Flex™ Signature Core™ fiber optic cassette designed for high-density network deployments. It terminates 12 OM4+ fibers, transitioning from a single MPO-12 male connector to six LC duplex adapters. This cassette addresses the need for efficient fiber management in data centers and enterprise networks where maximizing port density and minimizing signal loss are critical. Its universal polarity support simplifies installation and cross-connect configurations.

Compatibility

This FHCSA-12-10U cassette is engineered for use within Panduit's HD Flex™ fiber optic enclosures and patch panels. It is compatible with OM4+ fiber infrastructure, providing a high-bandwidth pathway for 10/40/100 Gbps Ethernet and other demanding applications. The MPO-12 male connector interfaces with corresponding MPO trunk cables, while the six aqua-blue LC duplex adapters accept standard LC patch cords.

Installation Notes

The cassette features a black polycarbonate housing. It utilizes six aqua-blue LC duplex adapters with integrated shutters for dust and contamination prevention. The MPO connector is black. The design supports universal polarity (Type A, B, or C) which simplifies field installations by allowing the same trunk cable to be used for different cross-connect applications without needing to change cable polarity.
