The Panduit FQ9N-12-10U is a QuickNet™ SFQ fiber cassette designed for high-density fiber optic infrastructure deployments. It addresses the need for efficient termination and management of 12 OS2 fibers, utilizing a universal polarity method for simplified installation and maintenance in network closets and data centers. This cassette features MPO-12 male connectors transitioning to LC duplex connectors, providing a common interface for connecting backbone fiber to active equipment.
Compatibility
This Panduit cassette is engineered for use within Panduit's QuickNet™ fiber optic system enclosures and panels. It is compatible with OS2 single-mode fiber applications, suitable for backbone cabling, data center interconnects, and other high-bandwidth, long-reach network segments where signal integrity is paramount. The MPO-12 male connector is a standard for high-density interconnects, and the LC duplex connectors are widely adopted for server and switch port connections.
Installation Notes
The cassette utilizes a polycarbonate material for durability and features a black housing with a black MPO connector and six blue LC duplex adapters, each equipped with dust caps to protect the fiber end-faces. The universal polarity method simplifies cross-connect and direct-connect configurations without requiring polarity conversion modules.
