Overview
The Geovision 125-TVD4810-000 is a compact outdoor fixed IP camera designed for facilities where impact resistance and flexible mounting matter more than ultra-high resolution. Built with an IK10 rating, it withstands vandalism and severe environmental shock — critical for retail loading docks, parking structures, and transit hubs where cameras take a beating. The 2.7–13.5mm varifocal lens (98° to 31° horizontal FOV) lets you adjust coverage angle in the field without swapping optics. Day/night IR with automatic cut filter and H.265 codec keeps bandwidth low on multi-camera deployments, and PoE (802.3af) power eliminates the need for separate electrical runs.
Compatibility
The 125-TVD4810-000 integrates with any ONVIF-compliant network video recorder or IP surveillance system that accepts H.265 streams. Mount it using Geovision's dedicated bracket ecosystem: GV-Mount107 (pendant), GV-Mount211-2 or GV-Mount211-3 (wall + junction box), GV-Mount212-2 (wall box), GV-Mount300-2 (convex corner), GV-Mount310-2 (concave corner), GV-Mount420 or GV-Mount440-1 (pole), or GV-Mount606 (in-ceiling). Pole mounts accommodate strap diameters Ø2.6″ to 5″. Verify your PoE switch supports 802.3af minimum (13W budget per port).
Installation Notes
The camera body measures Φ120 × 334 mm (Φ4.72″ × 13.15″) and weighs 0.74 kg (1.63 lb) — light enough for most ceiling joists and pole mounts without reinforcement. Junction boxes (GV-Mount211 series) expand footprint to ~10″ × 5″ × 5″ and add ~2 lbs to the install weight. Use the appropriate mount bracket for your orientation: ceiling mounts require in-ceiling hole Φ7.67″ (GV-Mount606), while wall installs pair with junction boxes to hide conduit. PoE cable runs must comply with standard Cat5e or better to minimize voltage drop on longer runs (over 100m, consult your systems integrator).
