Geovision GV-MOUNT915 In-Ceiling Mounting Kit
Overview
The GV-MOUNT915 is a purpose-built in-ceiling mounting kit for Geovision EFD series dome cameras (GV-EFD2101, GV-EFD3101, GV-EFD5101). It solves the installation problem of recessing dome cameras flush into standard suspended or solid ceilings — delivering a clean integrated appearance without visible mounting hardware or gaps. This is the correct choice when you need a finished ceiling-mounted look in retail, office, or hospitality environments where exposed brackets are unacceptable.
Compatibility
The GV-MOUNT915 is designed exclusively for the Geovision EFD2101, EFD3101, and EFD5101 dome camera series. It will not work with the GV-VD series (which requires the GV-Mount914) or the GV-EVD series (which requires the GV-Mount916). Verify your camera model number before ordering — cross-family compatibility is not supported. Ceiling board thickness must not exceed 4 cm (1.57 in) for proper installation.
Installation Notes
The kit includes three mounting brackets that secure to an in-ceiling plate using M3 black screws. A threaded in-ceiling ring holds the mounting assembly in place, and the included in-ceiling cover seals the opening. Installation stickers are provided for marking ceiling cutout locations. Thread lock compound (included) secures the cover to the ring. A torx wrench is required to loosen and remove the camera housing cover during assembly. The mounting ring and mounting plate feature alignment arrows that must be matched during assembly to ensure proper fitment.
