This USB sharing switch is designed for compatibility with any computer featuring USB Type-A ports running Windows, macOS, or Linux. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also known as USB 3.0) peripherals, ensuring backward compatibility with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. The included USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A to Type-A cables connect directly from the switch to the host computers.
The ATEN US4322 requires two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A to Type-A cables (included) to connect to the host computers. The USB peripherals connect to the two USB Type-A female ports on the switch. The switch is powered by the connected computers via the USB bus, eliminating the need for an external power adapter. Operating humidity should remain within 10 – 80% RH, non-condensing.
