Overview

The Altronix EBRIDGE200WPM is an Ethernet over Coax (EoC) transceiver designed to extend network connectivity over existing coaxial cable infrastructure. This unit enables the deployment of IP cameras and network devices in locations where running new Ethernet cable is impractical or cost-prohibitive. It effectively bridges the gap between legacy analog CCTV wiring and modern IP surveillance systems, supporting distances up to 200 meters (656 ft). The EBRIDGE200WPM is suitable for outdoor installations requiring robust network extension.

Compatibility

This transceiver is designed to work with standard IP cameras and network switches that support 10/100 Ethernet connectivity. It is compatible with systems utilizing existing coaxial cable runs, making it ideal for retrofitting older CCTV installations. For optimal performance, use in conjunction with the Altronix EBRIDGE200WPM's paired unit at the head-end or switch location.
