The Middle Atlantic DWRSR-4-FK is a 190 CFM active fan kit designed to add forced-air thermal management to DWR and SR series rack enclosures. If you're stacking Middle Atlantic enclosures with amplifiers, power distribution units, or dense AV equipment that generates sustained heat, passive convection won't hold temperatures in check — the DWRSR-4-FK solves that directly. The 4.5-inch fan runs on 120 VAC and moves 190 CFM, enough airflow to meaningfully reduce internal cabinet temperatures in equipment racks that would otherwise trap heat and shorten component life. At 4 lbs, the kit installs without structural concerns inside the enclosure.

Compatibility

This kit is explicitly designed for the Middle Atlantic DWR (Desktop Wallmount Rack) and SR (Slim Rack) series enclosures. These are the two base series supported — do not assume compatibility with other Middle Atlantic enclosure families such as the BGR, ERK, or WRK series without verifying fit for those specific cabinets. If your installation uses a different enclosure line, confirm the fan mounting geometry matches before ordering. The DWRSR-4-FK is a domestic product and is not available for international shipment.
