Overview

Installation Notes

The enclosure is vented to dissipate heat from transformers above 20 VA—do not obstruct vents or seal this enclosure, as thermal buildup can degrade transformer lifespan. The hinged cover design allows one-handed transformer insertion and removal. Mount the enclosure to vertical or horizontal panel surfaces using the mounting provisions on the base. Ensure adequate airflow around the unit, particularly in wall-mounted or enclosed cabinet scenarios. Do not use the ES502 for transformers under 20 VA where heat dissipation is minimal; a smaller sealed enclosure may be more appropriate.
