Overview
The ATEN VE1901AUST is a DisplayPort HDBaseT Lite transmitter designed for extending DisplayPort signals over Cat 6a cable up to 3 meters. It integrates contact out functionality for alarm triggers and supports Power over HDBaseT (POH), allowing it to power compatible receivers. This unit is ideal for wall-plate installations in commercial AV or surveillance environments where short-reach, high-fidelity signal extension is required.
Compatibility
This transmitter is designed to work with ATEN HDBaseT Lite receivers and other POH-compliant HDBaseT Lite devices. It requires a Cat 6a cable for optimal performance over its 3-meter maximum transmission distance. Ensure your connected receiver supports POH if you intend to use that feature.
Installation Notes
The VE1901AUST supports multiple mounting options, including pole and rack configurations, and fits standard US wall plates. It requires a 2-pole terminal block for +5V/GND power input if not using POH. The contact out terminal block (2-pole, DO/GND) allows for external alarm signaling. Operating humidity is limited to 0% - 80% RH, non-condensing.
