Overview

The ATEN VE901T is a DisplayPort HDBaseT Lite transmitter designed to extend DisplayPort video signals over standard Ethernet cabling. It's engineered for point-to-point extension scenarios where you need to place a display or projector further from the source device, supporting resolutions up to 4K@30Hz (4:4:4) or 1080p. This transmitter is ideal for digital signage, conference rooms, or command centers where clean signal transmission is critical.

Compatibility

This transmitter is designed for direct connection to a compatible HDBaseT Lite receiver unit (sold separately). It supports extension up to 40 meters for 4K resolutions and up to 70 meters for 1080p resolutions when using Cat 6a or ATEN's 2L-2910 Cat6 cable. With standard Cat 5e/6 cabling, the range is limited to 35 meters for 4K and 60 meters for 1080p. The input is a standard DisplayPort female connector, compatible with most DisplayPort output devices.

Installation Notes

The VE901T operates within a humidity range of 0-80% RH (non-condensing). Dimensions are 9.42 cm x 6.60 cm x 2.90 cm (3.71 in. x 2.6 in. x 1.14 in.) without bracket. The unit requires a paired receiver unit to function. Ensure the Ethernet cable used meets or exceeds Cat 6a specifications for maximum resolution and distance performance.
