Description

Comnet CTS24+2POE Managed Ethernet Switch with PoE

Overview

The Comnet CTS24+2POE is a 24-port managed Ethernet switch built for surveillance and commercial network deployments where centralized power distribution and modular expansion matter. It delivers 400W of PoE capacity across 24 x 10/100 ports, plus 2 x 10/100/1000 Gigabit combo uplinks — the right footprint for mid-scale camera systems (8–24 cameras) without overprovisioning. The 19" 1RU form factor fits standard rack enclosures, and three modular slots allow you to add 8-port modules as your deployment grows without replacing the entire chassis.

Compatibility

This switch pairs with any standard PoE-enabled IP camera, NVR, or network device using 10/100 Ethernet. Works with surveillance systems from Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, Hanwha (Samsung), Uniview, and other ONVIF-compliant vendors. The 2 Gigabit uplinks support fiber or copper backhaul to core switches, NVRs, or network appliances. Web-based management GUI and USB CLI configuration align with enterprise IT infrastructure — no proprietary software required.

Installation Notes

Mount in a standard 19" rack or wall-mounted enclosure. Operating temperature range 0°C to 50°C means indoor deployments only — not suitable for unheated or outdoor cabinets. 400W PoE power supply is internal; verify your facility can provide AC power at the rated input voltage. Gigabit uplinks accept both RJ-45 copper and 1000FX SFP modules, enabling fiber runs to distant NVRs or core infrastructure without media converters.
