This module is required alongside the AP36 and AP64 modules to reach the 128-door ceiling. The AP128 works exclusively with Speco Advantage systems that are already equipped with both AP36 (37–65 door expansion) and AP64 modules. It is not compatible with standalone Professional or Professional Plus panels — it is strictly an upgrade path from Advantage. Once installed with AP36 and AP64, the system unlocks Professional-tier features: 128 in/out reader capacity, 120,000 access cards per 32 users, 512 access levels, 250 schedules, 32 access groups, 50,000 transaction capacity, and floor plans with active icons and alarm acknowledgment.
The AP128 must be installed in sequence with AP36 and AP64 to form a contiguous upgrade path. Installation requires proper module stacking and configuration within the Advantage control unit.
