Installation Notes

Insert the CWGE-MM into the SFP slot on your CWGE2SCM2 converter with the ejector tab facing outward. Pair it with compatible multimode fiber (OM2 or better) terminated with LC connectors on both ends. The 550 m maximum reach assumes clean fiber, proper termination, and compliant fiber grade; longer distances or marginal installations will degrade link stability. Ensure the converter has power before hot-swapping the module. Handle the transceiver gently—dust on fiber connector tips causes insertion loss and link degradation.
